New Bike 1500 budget but needs to tick a lot of boxes

I have about 1,500 budget.

The bike will be used as a best bike and I will use it on TT's, Club rides and longer rides up to 100 miles. So it needs to be comfy enough to go on all day but also aggressive enough to TT on. I think I will compromise on the TT rather than comfort.
Prefer carbon but may go Alu for the right bike

I have had a Cannondale CAAD 8 in the past and liked it a lot, there are some stonking deals on the 2015 supersix at the moment and the CAAD 10 now 12 always get a good write up

Would prefer something that I can buy from a shop and test ride first rather than mail order.

Does anyone have any suggestions, I have access to the evans/cycles uk but also a smaller Trek LBS and Giant/Merida LBS

Any suggestions on what may fit?

If you liked the CAAD 8 then I would suggest you try a Supersix Evo. Amazing bikes. They go for around £1500 with 105 I believe. Or you try it in a shop and pick up one online...

If you want to buy from a shop, where do you live? And what size do you want

Have you seen the specialized Tarmac in the classifieds among others?

I live in Essex but work in the City so have access to numerous shops.

Size wise I'm a 56 on a Spesh and Cannondale. The Tarmac for sale looks good but is a 54 so might be too small, I also want 105 as a minimum. I appreciate I can upgrade but would prefer not to have to do that immediately

I got the same but the 2015 model.

Absolutely love it. So much more comfortable than my previous Canyon Endurance.

But we're all different although you rarely hear a bad thing about the Supersix.

CAAD12 105 hydraulic discs £1,499?

I am slightly biased as I have a CAAD12 with Hydraulic brakes and like it a lot. A very smooth ride, much more likely carbon bike than my other all bike.

If you didn't want discs, you could save £200.

Some very good ideas being put forward lot's of food for thought I am a bit of Cannondale fanboy having had two CAAD 8's previously so probably a little biased however whilst the Focus ergoride may be a little too relaxed for me the Cayo looks really good too.
