Now the proud owner of a TCR advanced 2. Should also be able to pick it up this weekend. It was one if those bikes that as soon as I slung my over it felt right

The propel was a missile as soon as you put pressure on the pedal it was off perfect as a TT bike and in fact I discussed with the shop if they would be able to put but Tt bars on it and they said that should be easy enough. It would have been a bit too light, aggressive and twitchy for me to live with day in day out

The defy was good but focused too much on being comfy and endurance biased for me
Nice. Congrats!

Do you know what he had before, comparing to Propel? I like those Propels rather a lot.

I dunno if it helps but I had two CAAD 8s previously which I believe are considered to be on the more aggressive racy side but compared to the Propel they felt like a sofa

I rode the Giant Propel Advanced Pro 2 - http://www.bikebasesouthend.co.uk/index.php?GOTO=2939&PICFILE=2939&STKNR=2939&STRH=&ORDN=&RNZ=946119 they do look really, really good and honestly they do go like a missile, but there is no compromise with them at all they are flat out, aggressive speed machines, the ride I found quite harsh and it didn't soak up any road bumps I felt it skittered over them. It may have been that the aggressiveness was exaggerated as I was on a slightly small frame for me. Out of the three Giants the propel was by far the best looking one but I opted for the TCR. I would ride one first before buying

I also went for the TCR as I am seriously considering one of these as a dedicated TT bike.
