New bike before or after tour

Planning in a big upgrade to my road bike and will be a massive improvement. It is a similar frame position but better brakes, gears and decoupling.

I'm planning on a mini 3 day tour in 5 weeks. Should I order the new bike and use that assuming it only comes a couple of weeks before or is that a bit risky as I'll not be used to it? Or should I get it for later in the year?

I did LEJOG last year on a bike I'd never ridden before. It was mostly fine, the only thing I would do differently with the benefit of hindsight is change the saddle...

If you're confident the new bike will be a good fit, go for it.
