Yes. But the op ought to make sure that the seller cannot put a plausible claim that the op damaged the bike.

so that was a pain, it was on a 3 day delivery, so about 1 week had passed before the bike was back with them. I was then quoted a 2 week wait as they were busy in the workshop, but they inspected the bike well within that, about 10 days IIRC & then offered a replacement frame which I then had to wait another 3 weeks for the workshop to re-build & then it was sent back out on a 3 day delivery. So in my experience you could be without the bike for around 6 weeks whilst it gets sorted, so if they offered you a discount it might be worth considering if you want the bike this side of winter
