On my bike.
Hi again all !

Well after a few more family bike rides and jumping on my wife BTwin Hybrid Original 500 I am 100% sure I am going to now change my bike.
I did look from my original post another mountain bike, but i am 100% going for a hybrid.

I am going to create a fresh post on hybrids if that's ok with the forum rules?

Thanks for all your replies above.

Lol, I'm pleased for you. Gotta love looking at shiny new bikes.

I will mention once again the cracking deal on this hybrid at Rutland Cycles. OH is thrilled to bits with his. We have gone along muddy tracks, roads, canal paths etc and it copes fine. Not gone down any steep mtb type tracks yet though. £100 cheaper than elsewhere:

Use code SAVE10 for another £10 off.

Also saw this deal on a Diamondback Synch 1 mtb. No idea if the bike is any good - couldn't find any written reviews, but there was a review from a keen biker in YouTube who seemed to rate it. It seems very cheap anyway:

Again, it's about £100 cheaper than I could find elsewhere. * Just noticed you don't get pedals, so you would need to budget for those.

Thank you, I will add these to my list to have a look at !

I am midlands based, so will like to try bikes, or sit on them at least. Bikes are like shoes to me - i know straight away if its the right one.....I just wish I did when I bought my last bike !

Not sure where you could try a Diamondback but Evans do the Cannondale Quick range. Just seen your other post - didn't realise your budget was £500. You should have a fair number to choose from at that price.
