Hi everyone,
think im going to treat myself to a new bike soon. looking for something to commute 40 miles per day (mostly flat road, small incline up Notting hill).
Currently using a boardman hybrid - but now want something abit lighter / less boring.
Was thinking of getting the below:

Has anyone got one / can recommend it?
Are there any other good bikes im missing?

Thanks!

I've got the previous version, the Touche. Not done very many miles due to my latest orthopaedic adventure, but really like the SS thing

It's a less boring colour than the one you've linked, sorry  but go to their shop and have a look

Also look at the utterly gorgeous Condor offerings (might need more £££ though) !!

Also, on the cheaper side, the Genesis Flyer

dont think I can get any time off at the moment, too busy! will prob visit the sheen store as its closeish to Staines
I can wait till march as will only start to use it once the weather is better.
Im debating getting the Steel or Alu version. Im assuming the Alu is ligher (as its cheaper)

This one was well reviewed in this month's cycling active (91/100 scored)

Potential weaknesses, heavy on hills, poor shifter position

I have to say £1500 seems a lot for a commuter but each to their own. I'd stick with the single speed for something different to what you have

Think I agree with you - Got abit excited when I saw it on another site for £1000 - but its probably not too different from my CDF -
Going into Pearsons next Saturday to have a look at their bikes....
