Hi All,
I've currently got a Raleigh Mustang Comp hybrid bike and am looking to replace it. I like the weight, disk brakes, SRAM gear shift, SRAM derailleur, 1x11 40T drivetrain and cassette setup but was thinking of handing the bike to my son to get him into the sport too... perfect excuse for a new bike!

There are so many bikes to choose from, all I know is that I like the above features, it has to be a hybrid for where I live but don't want to buy another Mustang! No particular reason, just been there, done that sort of feeling.

I only ride around 120-140 miles a week comprised of a daily 15-20 miles with a 30-50 miler at the weekend... I do want to up the miles somewhat as and when I have time to fit it in with work and walking the dogs but we have to rest sometimes too

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Doing those miles have you considered a drop bar road bike . There is a general shortage of new bikes such had been the demand during lockdown so you struggle to get the bike you want

See what you can get in the way of a Whyte R7 hybrid, most if not all come with single chainring (Shimano rather than SRAM this model year)

They even do a Victoria ;)

or something cool retro from Ribble?

or something super unusual, maybe a bit spendy though...

Otherwise you could get a company like Cotic to build you one :becool:
