My default for a while has been Firefox. I "get" the way it works, I like the options on the right click and I like the bookmarks toolbar but, tbh, I treat a browser as something that I use to look at other stuff rather than the end result in itself.

I don't see any major reasons to choose one over any other, although, as a reason not to choose one of them, I'd dance naked beneath the light of a full moon before installing Google software.

My default is Firefox too. Just starting to get the hang of their addons etc. I tried the Google one a while back and couldn't get on with it at all.

Just try them all then make a final decision.

I was an avid Firefox user for the last couple of years but have just switched over to Google Chrome as its much much faster.

Firefox just takes a bit of getting used to - I couldn't be bothered so use Chrome which is faster more helpful than IE8 IMHO.

There are actually 10 choices...scroll the chooser to the right. However, they (the hidden 5) are crap. Go with Firefox or Chrome, both are very capable and more secure the IE. I use both, Chrome at home and Firefox for work. Very happy with either, although there are more addons for Firefox, such as things to stop adverts or do extra jobs such as to-do lists or help with debugging websites (which is why I use it at work).

You don't have to pick one - just close the window if youre happy with what you've got.

This was put out as a deal between Microsoft and the EU. Funny how no ones picking on Google yet and they are dominating all sorts of markets now.

IE8 gets my vote BTW, I like the coloured tabs to organize what tab came from what other page. Then Chrome then Firefox - I find Firefox buggy so haven't bothered with it for a while.

IE9 on the way.
