Hi All

I've just been cleaning my new Cannondale and I've noticed some 'imperfections' in the finish on the forks. I know nothing about carbon (as this is my first carbon bike), should I be concerned about this? I took it to my LBS today to get the BB30 sorted and forgot to mention about the forks.

I've attached some photos. Can anyone advise?

I'd forget about it.

Ok cool. The photos don't show it too clearly. Perhaps I'm worrying over nothing.

Thanks for looking anyway.

if you are not entirely happy with it and you bought it from a shop you are intirely in your rights to take it back and raise your issues with it. As with the poster above i can only see some what looks liek spotting, From what i have seen on the cannondale bikes they are normally like a glossy smooth finish (from ones i seen in my LBS)
Never hurts to go back where you got it and just tell them not happy.

The BB30 was clicking....now sorted.

The paint seems dimpled, so much in one place the fork almost looks 'stressed'. I'll see if I can get a better image of it. It doesn't really show too well on the earlier ones.
