new chain?

My chain wear indicator arrived...

0.5 passes through without touching
0.75 passes through (if pushed) with a click

New chain now?

I replace the chain as soon as there is danger of the 0.5 passing through.

Never used chain wear tools meself but I believe they're not as reliable as the 12 inch ruler method - see Sheldon Brown.
