Not really a "what new bike" thread so don't panic

I have just been doing a bit of internet window shopping with an all purpose bike in mind, and I have noticed the Raleigh Strada range.

There seem to be some decent bikes and a good cost / quality match up there, particularly in the middle 2. Not sure how good the frames are ?

They don't seem to get mentioned much and whilst I know they wont be hand welded in the midlands, for the price they look great and the solution for a lot of the what bike threads people post here

Anyone used/got one ?

I think I would rather have the highly rated, carbon forked triban 3 at 10kg and £300, than steel fork and 12kg for £250, but the Raleigh is a little different, nice colour

Not that it matters, but I think Raleigh frames are now made either in Vietnam or Taiwan, can't remember which one. As kids we all wanted Raleigh bikes.
