New commuter breakfast?

My commute is 25+ miles in.
No breakfast before or any food/drink on ride.
Glass of milk on arrival.
After 1 hr lunchtime ride I'll have porridge with banana.

I do an almost all uphill 5 miles (journey home is great - wheeeee!)
Cup of strong sweet coffee on waking. Set off 7.30. Instant Porridge pot when I get to work.
No need for water on the way. If I eat before I set off, I feel sick! I guess I could get up early, eat and allow it time to digest but I'm rubbish at mornings!
 
Forget everyone else, they're all wrong.

Get a blender. Not a juicer that takes the pith, just a whirling blade blender. Chuck in a pint of oj and two bananas, handful of grapes or blueberries or strawberries, whatever's in season. Add a squirt of runny honey to take the bitterness down a notch and blend. Like an injection of vitamins.
