Hi I need one !
Not uptodate on current specs - I think last time I built one it was the Core 2 Duo E4300 or something !

Anyway just need the PC no Monitor. It will be for the usual Internet DVD's but no gaming.
Oh and must be already built (Not for me)

Prefer Windows 7 over Vista possibly

Budget £300-£350

Windows 7 isn't released until October, but it's possible you could upgrade then. You can pre-order Windows 7 now.

tesco have medion pc towers for not much with a decent spec and an upgrade to windows 7

could get a mac if you wanted to avoid vista, come with a decent software package for dvd playback and other bits and bobs, can dual boot with XP or can even run XP as a program

My son got a PC base unit built up not long ago, it cost £340.

AMB Athalon 2.7Gh Duo
500 Gb Hard drive
4 Gb ram.
N-Vidia Video card and the usual DVD burner etc.
