As lovely as that Jag Growler (That definately is something else!) is I'd still go for a Morgan +8.

I won an E-Type for a weekend once, in the end the company didn't get round to picking it up for months. Having a classic sports car became a bit of a burden as i hadn't got a garage at the time and nowhere to safely park it. It was very cool posing around in it though, making out it was mine!

I've never liked the E-type, too bulbous on the sides, too narrow in the tyres... but, slight reservations on the rear window aside, I like that Growler! :becool:

I am a bit too long in the Jagwaar tooth to believe this stuff... there was the F-type concept a few years ago to keep us happy but nothing came of that.

This new cat looks gawjus tho...

...but don't they all??

(my baby)

Very tidy Moss.

When I built my garage I made it big enough to fit a jag in but such is life I am still running around in a crappy 406 and the wife has nicked the garage for her car.

but there is room at the end for all the bikes now.

There is definately a retro style coming back in with that Jag ...

... and the Nissan Juke.

I saw a Juke today on the way in to work and the wheel arches reminded me of a Morris Minor!

The Jag is lovely. The Nissan Juke is, er, not. Truly a hideous car for people with more money than taste.

I never understood why so many of the Jaguar cognoscenti hated the XJS when it first appeared. I like them.
My 1984 HV12E has been dozing under cover for a few years - occasional rollout for fluid changes & turn engine over- . Someday I'll have the time to give it the treatment it deserves.

It would probably be easier to get a trike in the boot than a full sized adult into the back seat..

At long last. Someone who agrees with me about the E-type styling. :becool:

I liked the earlier XK120.And the less said about the Nissan Puke, the better :headshake:

Many would argue that the XK drew from the lines of the E type in its styling and "tucked under" look.

I think it actually rivals the E Type for looks and in many ways is better. It looks right from all angles whereas the E type looks lovely from some angles and rather odd from others.

Spoilt the XK with the 2006 revamp.

Am I the only one to get annoyed when I see the leaping Jag logo on the boot of jags now.

The XF and I think all present models have the leaping jag accross the boot where (if any thing) there shold be the jaguar head logo. It just does not look right.

I guess it is too much for Americans to have two logos for a car company.

It's my understanding that The Leaper does not meet European pedestrian safety standards so The Growler is fitted.

In the USA The Leaper is allowed.

If you see a Leaper on a UK car it has been fitted, after market (and quite legally) by an idiot.
