New folder / Brompton upgrade?

Hi all, here's one for the hive mind...

I'm currently the owner of a 2014 Brompton M6L. It's quite a fun ride (I do about 100 miles a week on it) and apart from the replacement of the suspension block, it's pretty much unadulterated. I primarily use it for commuting along roads and towpaths, etc - but as I'm 6'2" I'm a bit fed up of feeling like I'm riding a clown's bike. Now I'm thinking about the next step. My options are:

1) Replacing it with another folder (currently looking at the Tern Verge S8I for the features and low-maintenance), or
2) Properly pimping the Brompton up (probably going down the route of using Kinetics to add an internal hub/disc brakes - plus slightly larger tires too).

Would love to get a full-size bike, but it needs to be a folder due to space. Budget-wise, we're probably talking around the two grand range.

Anyone got any advice as to the best option?

Cheers-ta-lovely-stuff-thanks.

I have a Brompton 9 Streets and would happily swap it for the Tern Verge S8i.

I would prefer to have standard bike parts as opposed to the bespoke parts that Brompton use.
