And completed, from mile 65 onwards it was torture, I even stopped for a break. Blissford hill was at 76.2 miles (someone was sadistic).
But job done. Longest ride yet, next one is the New Forest 100 in October which is 100 miles

1St 47 miler for me and I think in the Silver time (just)

Was with a few peeps from my neck of the woods on a run to Studland Point and back, saw a fair few Rattlers on our way back. Despite 110 miles in my legs already, got drafted for a while!! (dropped them later on though). Fine weather for it.

Weather was nice but i was lucky to get away in the first groups as it was cooler.

My 1st Sportive so really happy ive done it.

Did you see the bloke doing it on a bromton folder. Overtook him three times during the ride, and he wasn't hanging about either. On one streach when there was a group of three road bikes and him, we were cruising at 20 mph.

We took a sneaky pic of him.

My time was 3:22 in the end for the 47 miler so that gives me a challenge for next year.

The BBQ was crap btw but otherwise i thought the whole thing was pretty good.
