Aha, I do mean 'si' .... as in,
..."So if the question was “do you want cake?” you would just say “oui” - but if the question was “don’t you want cake?” you would reply with “si.”

Who wouldn't want cake...

Hmmm - there seems an uncanny similarity between the CC and EC members lists. Would the gentleman standing around in post #36 like to investigate?

Anyone else here sad enough to have all of the Pink Panther films on DVD?

(What's the problem with the French word "si" anyway?)

mmmm? What was the question again?
Now, if you are talking about the MF in the EC forum.. that's not me.. that's my.. twin sister, she is! Tha's why she looks just like me, she is!

As for the absurd and unfounded accusations.. all I have to say is that I most definitely don't have all of the PP films.. (I might have some.. or most of them maybe?) :addict:

(now the problem with the "si". In French, when someone is asking a question in positive form, like "did you go to the movies yesterday?" and you actually did, the correct way to reply is by using the word "oui". If the question it is formed in a negative way, like "I don't suppose you went to the movies yesterday?" and again you did, then the correct way to reply is using "si". Quite tricky..)
