New Genesis Equilibrium 20 2015

Just taken delivery of my brand new steel machine The Genesis Equilibrium 20 in stunning black with understated logos....lovely...hope you enjoy It's not quite got out on the road yet..hence it would not be posing on my wife's best seat if it had been

It's complemented with the tubus fly classic (as I hate carrying a rucksack) black mudguards (who likes a wet bum!) and gatorskin hardshell 700x28's for comfort and speed and the odd sportive next year. I am particularly fond of the veloce groupset as this Italian styling suits my small hands....

That's very smart.
I think Genesis are hitting a sweet spot at the moment with it's bike range and the Equilibrium is a real gem. Welcome to the steel fraternity (which kind by the way?).

But I have to say, the Giant Defy you sold me, is the best, I am so loving your old bike, its so light and fast.

Glad to hear it's at a good home John. I much prefer to have a real enthusiast ride my old Giant rather than some nerd on ebay just after a giveaway. My other bike which I ride as well everyday is my kenesis racelight tk2 which also has campag veloce and here is a pic...

Yes you guessed it the wife did not realize I was posing the bike on that fancy Laura Ashley seat

I have motorbikes in the house but Runner has a death wish. How he became a Senior member is a mystery.

Hi Osprey never used framesaver before what do you suggest?

I was recommended J P Weigles frame saver. Its about £18 a can but should be a worthwhile investment. My 2012 Croix de fer had rust streaks running out of the chain stays. Anyway, enjoy the equilibrium.
