subject to crb checks, i'm going to be a semi-temporal communications delivery executive, aka a part time postman.

it's a shame there's no cycling involved, other than the 1km commute, but you never know, i might be able to persuade them once i'm in (i noticed that there are still postie bikes in the sizable bike shed).

having worked from home for a while, i'll really enjoy the change of scenary…

Understood. I thought CRBs were only needed if you were going to be working with children.

Yes, shame about CRBs not being transferrable. I think I've had 4 CRBs done, so far.

yeah, iphone off ebay, a dvd full of porn and a tenner off yer nan. they all got 'lost in the post'.

i actually had a thieving tea leaf at royal mail nick a camera i'd been sent by pixmania.com. their customer service was appalling, and required paypal getting involved to get a refund.

maybe the tea leaf wasn't royal mail but at pixmania, who knows…

There was a postie who was nicking post of a client of mine in Macc but Brian Ollier the local photographer filmed him in the act and he got sent down. Think it appeared on a program "when postie go bad" or similar.
