New Left Handed bikes from Taiwan?

Saw an advert yesterday on the Tube for "The best bicycles start their journey in Taiwan". And it seems the best bicycles have their chain and gears on the left of the bike and their discs on the right. Are we all going to have to swap over if we want the best?
