New Madness Album

Anyone been listening to this? First listen for me left me cold but I've heard it 3 times now and its beginning to grow on me. What are your impressions?

Mark Edwards of the times (and formerly melody maker, if I'm not mistaken) said it was their best album.

I'm going to buy it in a couple of weeks... very busy work-wise, and wouldn't be able to listen to it properly. What I've heard so far is good, but then I'm a fan anyway.

So what? Every U2 album that's ever released is hailed as a masterpiece yet for the last ten years they've all sounded exactly the same! Very bland.

Madness are a much better band though, I'm sure they've done better.

One of them (possibly Suggs) recently described Madness as "the working-class man's Pink Floyd" More in reference to their latest album than previous stuff...
