Hi my name is Mellissa I live in Doncaster - I have only been cycling for about 9 months - I am riding a 1983 Raleigh Royale - it has flat bars fitted light weight wheels and covers the ground beautifully. At the beginning of the year I was set a target of 500 miles for the year - my view was very unlikely - but surprisingly I hit my 500 on the 1st June. OVer the last 6 months the length of my rides has slowly extended with a 25 - 30 mile ride leaving me wanting more and my speed has improved from 10mph to around 14/15 mph. I do all my riding on my own - how do I go about finding local rides so that I can enjoy some company on my rides?
