Just to say hello to you all.
I haven't ridden for 30+ yrs and bought a trax hybrid last week, I look and feel like a total novice but hope in time to improve. In the meantime it would be nice to chat to others either experienced or newbies like myself.

Hello!Enjoy yourself,just be careful around The Waterwitch,you tend to get a lot of low types sitting drinking at the pub tables, a lot of them cyclists I believe!! I ll keep an eye out for you as I sit there

Lancaster does have some nice places to cycle around but until I get used to the bike and a bit fitter I will avoid the city as I'll not manage the inclines yet. Morecambe-Heysham prom is good for me to practice in the evening when it's quiet.

If you get bored of the prom, you can get all the way to Cockerham Sands with nothing bigger than a canal bridge to climb.
