Hello people im mark from portsmouth. I love riding its all i do for fun and also transport as i dont drive. I am currently using a marlin hybrid im waiting for a brand new road bike (never owned one before) im looking at a giant defy advance 2 love the look of it and think its what im after. Any thoughts?

Also on a side note does anyone know where or if they even do a like section of handle bar that would extend up from original handle bar making my lights higher ie over a bag? Do you know the name of it or where to get it? Thanks i look forward to speaking to you guys thanks for reading. All the best

:welcome: hello from Liverpool. No advice on road bike from me I'm afraid, unless it's old and steel with downtube shifters!
Think light brackets will depend on the brand of lights you have? A "ghetto" fix/bodge may be required?

In answer to your question, they're usually called Light Brackets. Your best place to ask for details is probably on the Touring sub-forum, but the link below is a starter for 10. SJS aren't the cheapest, but they're more touring focused than many other online shops so will give you an idea of options/prices.
