I took up cycling August 2014 at 49 years old. Being in central france, the most rural part, Im spoiled for quiet routes and have teamed up with some other english speaking riders.
In september of last year, I took on Mont Ventoux, and managed it in just over 2 hours, then had to do it all again the next day as my daughter visited with her french boyfriend and his dad the following day. France V England.......England won Im pleased to say.
This September, I will be tackling Alpe D'Huez, so training starts now!
