Solitary rides are the best by miles no arguing which direction, no having to ride at someone else's pace , being able to stop when you want and take a picture of and you can make animal noises at the the animals you see en route...

I managed to surprise a cyclist having a nature break along a tree lined very old railway / cart track by singing (badly). I really thought I had the path to myself!

I thought it was only me who did that .......... 'hello ewe' to the sheep and 'hello cyril' to the squirrels. Am I going mad?

Blimey never thought about saying anything more than hello to the squirrels but you have got me thinking now

Darned spell correction ........ Should have read 'hello ewe' to the sheep. I've now corrected it and I may have to correct this as well after I've posted it.
