The miles will be building up now as the sportive season kicks off

Hello and welcome too.
This is my 1st cycling forum too.
They all seem like a good friendly bunch.
I think we'll fit in here very well.
What I like so far is how polite and reasonable everyone seems.
None of the rancour from misunderstandings that I have seen when looking at other forum groups.
I don't mean any other cycling groups specifically mind you, as I haven't joined any before this one. (see what I mean about being careful not to offend anyone unintentionally).
I'm sure there is some gentle ribbing when members get familiar with each other's styles, but I like that there appears to be a complete lack of insults and going off- track in threads.
Must be due to the good nature that cycling attracts or engenders.
All the best in the saddle, on and off-road.

Oh - like that , is it?
I think I may have seen a whisp of what you mean in the wheel-truing thread.
The word that stands out is TENSION.
It still didn't turn personal, though.
Plenty of that elsewhere on the web, if that's what anyone wants.
I stand by with bated breath!
