Hi from Ealing - originally from Geordieland where I raced as a junior, I took a bike break for a few years - about 35 or so - & started riding again with short training & a dismal attempt on the Etape du Tour (made the first & second climbs Croix de Fers & Telegraph0 but stopped peretty daed on the Galibier & got the bus. A fwe years later did it again with more success on the Ventoux (hard climb tho' only 1 'rest' corner in the hard mid section unlike on the much easier Alp d'Huez.

Crocked in Spain by a bendy bus & broke hip so now right leg 2cm shorter than left - Ideas about solutions to get me back on the bike before I die?

HI GO,

Welcome to the forum :hello:

Re your shorter leg problem try a PM to Hilldodger - I think he knows about adapting bikes for specialist requirements. Or have a search - I think there have been some threads you might for useful.

Good luck with finding a solution!

Anne - still in Geordieland
