What a great month its been, especially with the clocks changing. I achieved a new monthly total of 1112miles and less than 175 of that was commuting Its a record for me at least but noodley probably does that in a weekend

Nope, your monthly total is more than my total so far this year. I am currently 'retired' due to family stuff and saddle sores.

Well done mate, that is some serious distance especially as only around 15% of it is commuting. I dream of the time i have the spare time to cover that distance in 30 days!!

Just realised I would have to ride from my house on the south coast to edinburgh and back then do a 200 mile warm down to cover that distance... respect to you!

I have worked out if I do a Mille month, only about 60 of the 1000+ will be commuting.

The plan is an hour before work, 5 miles for the commute and an hour after work every day, with a couple of biggies on a weekend.

I've achieved a new monthly record for April this year too, 45.7 miles....some 590 miles less than my average April mileage over the last 20 years of recording such things....all thanks to a case of vertigo/ear infection which still hasn't sorted itself out yet
