I don’t consider myself a “cyclist” but have ridden bikes intermittently all my life. I used to love camping, hill walking and trekking until sudden arthritis put a stop to long walks. I had bought a mountain bike while living in the welsh mountains to help me train on my local steep roads for a particularly arduous trek.
Discovered I still loved riding a bike even as I approached retirement and it is much easier on the joints than walking. I then added a Brompton to my stable with the intention of using public transport to do a bit of slow touring without the hassle of a full sized bike. 2020 was to have seen my debut tour. My timing could have been better!
Hoping to get started in 2021, and interested in all things touring and Brompton related.
