Got under the hour for a 25m TT for the first time tonight. The weather was excellent and I managed 57:43, which I think got me a 4th place. It was only a club event, but given that I am 58 and only starting my 2nd full season of TTs I'm well happy!!

:dance::dance::dance:

You should be happy.

Ah, a fellow Time Trialling Forum member [I go under a different name on there] I saw it first there and what a PB, by nearly 6 mins IIRC, congratulations!

Cracking ride. Seriously, now that you have gone well under the hour they will come thick and fast.

Nice. Been some time since I TT'ed - managed a 57 a couple of times. What was the course like ?

The course is an undulating DC with long drags rather than major hills. The surface is quite good, although last winter has damaged it in a few places. The main advantage to me is that it is inland so I didn't have the major winds that I always encounter on my usual lumpy coastal courses and training routes.

I worked like a demon all winter for this season and so far have 2 PBs from 3 races - so happy isn't the word!!
