Don't quite know what happened tonight but I felt fantastic and knocked a massive 5 minutes off my PB coming home :biggrin:. Time this morning 43 minutes, time this evening 38 minutes and it was even slightly further! I'm well chuffed. It was about my 10th commute and I think I'm finally getting some power into my legs.

Nice one Helen! Feels goood dosen't it?

I've always advised those new to cycling that if you cycle regularly for two weeks you will really start to gain confidence, feel the difference in your abilities and become ready to try greater distances.

Keep it up!

Yes, you didn't manage to frighten me off!

Shaun has offered to change my username to Hel en Wheels. Should I stick or change?

It's that CC effect, knocked a whole second of my 10 mile TT PB xx(

BTW, change the name, I reckon you've earned it!

Tailwind?

I was knackered this morning and had a headwind to fight.Dehydrated when I got in.Tired as it was my 5th consecutive commute and had no breakfast then they started taking the p*** out of my cycling attire so I walked out of the room.Heard it so much over the last twenty years it's become really boring and unoriginal.

Very slight breeze in the morning which may have been a slight factor.

Beautiful, sunny ride in this morning and did it in 39 minutes without much effort so definitely making progress.
