Fancy Capella lugs with rattle can over original enamel


No tubing decal, but weight says 531DB.
Proper mitres.



Far Eastern bought-in fork, typical on mid-range bikes from UK builders in the 70s and 80s - it had a JIS crown race seat until I cut it to ISO.


They did bother to stamp a matching frame number, though

Is that the one of retro bike?

Yes. Looked a bit rough to start with but has no real flaws and it's fully sealed for crap weather riding, unlike the fake Gillott. It will be a winter bike with a Sturmey AW - I usually prefer AMs but the back lane way to Church Stretton is a bit much for a 52" lowest gear. Going to gear it 42", 56" and 75".

I use to like the ride across to the youth hostel just the far side of Church stretton .

Sounds like an idyllic ride
