As I said I was willing to wait and see. But it bolloxed up big time. I laughed once at 9.51pm (yes, I did check ) when Martin Clunes (I refuse to call him Reggie) slagged off his miserable secy. And otherwise it was just a waste of 30 minutes not on the forum.

Sums it up. I was searching for why it was shoot. There are many reasons but the main one is that the original was perfect.

Strangely, I don't think it's one of the shows repeated on a regular basis on digital channels.

It is/was superb.

Thankfully I have just started to watch The Odd Couple on ITV3...

..a strange phenomena in that both the movie and TV series were good.

M*A*S*H* shares this. Few others do.

Dad's Army movie was watchable...but not good. Porridge movie was an episode stretched out longer than it should have been.
