New Rider, looking at a Decathlon bike. Advice please

Just out of interest what would you be looking to pay for that lot ? As to me that seems to make a bargain £300 bike quite expensive ?

The only thing to change asap if you do not get on with it is the saddle as everyone's behind is different , you can pick up what many like a charge spoon for £20 .
The rest is not desperate and you can replace as they wear out.
I got shimano r501 wheelset for just over £70
Tyres about £20 each
Forks, mm why change them if they work as i ride a steel forked bike all week and although its a bit heavier the amount of road buzz is not as bad as they make out and you can always get something like phat bar tape for less than £20 ? that has gel inserts if you do suffer.
