Lucky for some eh?!!I would think Satnav is already gone shopping for the new wheels by now.![]()
Standing by for update.![]()
). Will have lunch and then go to Evans in Manchester/Trafford centre area - they have a superstore there, via Decathlon in Warrington. The Specialized Concept store along with Bike Factory both over in Chester are in the wrong direction, so may save them for tomorrow morning along with Cycle Surgery and another one I can't remember the name of, both over towards Cheshire Oaks... There are probably one or two more in Chester itself if I google it as well! But ideally need to be able to walk away with a bike because of the need to be mobile on Tuesday.... I guess I could at a push resort to my touring bike for the commute, but I don't currently have a saddle on it and the road bike one has been tried on the tourer and I didn't manage 10 miles before it was painful, which is odd because on the road bike I am completely fine with it for +75 mile rides... I guess I could try the one off the mountain bike instead... but the tourer has to be dismantled, carried down stairs and reassembled before it can be used...
Lucky for some eh?!!
lolI was going to suggest a Racelight frame and forks. Or Planetx will have something.kinesis racelight? was my second choice when looking for a frame to build up, but only just. will definitely take panniers and i think a 28 tyre. not sure what the whole bike would cost but def less than a grand.
hahaha yeah I bought one of the new alloy framesets from planet x instead of the racelight. but it doesn't have anywhere to attach panniers.I was going to suggest a Racelight frame and forks. Or Planetx will have something.
too many other things will need replacing before the summer is out. Not to mention that one of the brake bosses has 'gone'I was going to suggest a Racelight frame and forks. Or Planetx will have something.
Is this a want or a need because I can't see why buying some forks 2nd hand or even new for the Triban wouldn't be cheaper?
Ah Ok. If other things need replacing I guess the economics for the Triban3 don't add up and there's probably not many things you'd want to move to a donor frame.too many other things will need replacing before the summer is out. Not to mention that one of the brake bosses has 'gone'
