Hi all, am considering an upgrade from my boardman cx comp.
option 1)
http://www.dolan-bikes.com/road/road-bikes/dolan-preffisio-aluminium-road-bike-shimano-105-5800.html

Option 2)
Giant defy 1 2016 disc.

Which one would be best do you think?
Ps. Would like to fit lazy brakes on handle bar. Got used to them on cx bike and found them useful in traffic. Is it possible to fit these on both models?
Bike will be used solely for road use, no panniers etc. Just saddle bag and top tube bag.
Many thanks,
John.

Panic levers can be fitted if you've got cable brakes.

Try them out if you can
Depends if you want disc brakes, both are popular models but you'll see many more giant bikes on the roads if you like somehing different
Unless you live near Dolan, buying the Giant locally might be a more peace of mind option

Call Dolan to discuss the cross levers if you decide that way, they could fit as part of the build I expect
