I've just received my new rollers and I have a question. Looking at the nylon rollers it looks like there is a very small channel in them that would indicate that they have been used. Do these things can built and tested before being boxed up? Not too worried as I will use them but is this the norm. but also do the tyres usually make this mark?

Did you buy them "new" from Amazon or did you pay a reduced price which might indicate you purchased a returned item.

Here is a photo. The line is faint in the pic, but it is clearly on all three rollers.

Usage would not create that channel, as it would be impossible for anyone to hold a line tight enough and consistently enough to wear it through. Whatever it is, it is not from someone using them. It's possible the groove is there to aid positioning on the rollers although either way, it shouldn't affect their operation.

When you look closely at the marks they are not even, if it were there to aid you would think it would be a proper channel. Anyway I've had a go on them and they are really difficult!
