Picked up my new Tarmac sport on Friday, did 7 miles home in the wet and it got cleaned right away ! Hopefully that will be the first and last time it gets wet ^_^

I've upgraded the calipers to 105's with black koolstops and the wheels are off my commuter for the time being as are the spd pedals, looking to get hand built's with hope hubs and H son's rims

Online photos of the frame really do it no Justice.

Stunning.

Quick note re: Hope hubs in case you don't know Bigbud, they are VERY noisy.

I had a pair of Mavic OP rims built onto Hope Pro 3 hubs, but TBH they were so loud it near drove me mental

I've swapped them now simply due to the noise, but if you like a loud freewheel then just ignore me, but if not then don't use Hope hubs.

My fulcrums are quite loud on the free wheel, any idea how they compare ? TBH I wouldn't want them to be any louder

I don't know TBH, but if you Google Hope hub click you'll find lots of reports about it.

Hope have always been know for being loud, and the MTB's guys don't seem to mind/care, but for road use they are really loud and IMO sound out of place on road wheels.

I saw a guy at a CX meet with Hope wheels (some carbon deep sections) and the freewheel was VERY loud, much louder than a Fulcrum wheel.

That is one very nice bike. I have a friend who brought a Tarmac Sport towards the end of last summer and he absolutely loves it, I am sure you will too.

Its a shame about the White bar tape because it does make a nice contrast, but i'm sure that it will change colour very quickly as you use the bike, therefore a change will not be a bad thing

How much does it cost to Oldham?

They're not noisy until you stop pedalling!
