Hi Combi and welcome to the site and also G.B. some of our drivers are a tad aggresive but fortunatly not all (at lease around here) I find in my area that the local bus company drivers are about the worst I encounter on my travels ! but please don't let me put you off just go out and ride and most importantly enjoy your cycling.

My brother lives in Michigan and doesn't dare road ride; he reckons the biggest dangers are light trucks and SUVs with texting drivers.

My carbon Specialized seems to be designed for California conditions - the bottom headset bearing is ridiculously exposed to water thrown up from the wheel and turns rusty for fun.

Welcome anyway. Sorry you're not up in Lancashire as we could show you some stunning scenery and empty roads.
