Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I've been reading your posts on and off for a year now when I need help looking for advice, you are a knowledgable bunch. But now I've purchased my very first road bike (in my 40's) I thought I'd join in.

I communte once or twice a week to work 13 milese each way on my Hybrid and hoping to do it more when the weather is better. I have country roads on my doorstep and get out there when I can. Now I have my new Dolce Sport that I've called Sassy, hence my name, I'll be doing longer rides at the weekend. I'm still getting used to the change to a road bike and loving it so far.

My family are fed up with me and I've been told to stop (or at least calm it) with my cycling posts on Facebook so I hope this forum gives me the outlet for talking all things bike.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and picking up tips on riding my road bike.

Hi, Welcome, I'm new here as well. My friends are exactly the same about Facebook, so I'll stop with Facebook and come here instead.

Spot on about FB, me too I try to restrain my cycling post on there!
What would we do without Cycle Chat?

Hey you! Hope you achieve everything you want (even if its just a bit of time to yourself) and have a lot of fun on the way!
