New Tyres Needed..

The tyres on my mtb which are Bontrangers XR 1's are coming to the end of there tyre life and as this is my first tyre change, so I was wondering should I try something else..

The XR1's do all that I want, like being good on tarmac and dry tracks but the question is..
Are there any tyres that are better or even better and cheaper perhaps..

I was thinking of the Continental Race king @ £21.99... about a £1 less than the XR1's

Me too Pat. Just took off the Kenda tyres that came with the new bike and fitted Schwalbe Durano Plus, really for puncture protection but I like the way they feel too so a bonus.
