new tyres

Hello all, your help would be much appreciated....

I am quite new to bike maintenance and like to do things for myself as I can learn better that way.

I am currently trying to fit new tyres and everything on youtube makes it look so easy when it really isn't. I have a triban 3 and am upgrading the tyres but the new tyres have a solid rim ( ie non folding) and I am finding the last step almost impossible, with the last step being fitting the last 5-10cm into the wheel rim, I just cant manage to do it with my hands alone. I tried using a tyre level and ended up popping the inner tube....please help it is driving me nuts

Push the wire beads into the centre of the wheel that will give you the free play to get the last bit on. There is a good YouTube video I shall see if I can find it.

thanks for the help, i tried finding a decent youtube video but they all just showed how to get it off and on again.

Will attempt this method once i get another inner tube and let you know how i get on

Practice without the inner tube. It could save you so
me money.
