When I got my Brompton a couple of years ago (2007 superlight), I removed the little 'cone' rolling wheels and fitted skateboard wheels from Decathlon - cheap and cheerful, and they mostly did as I wanted, but every now and again I'd clip a heel on them (the attachment screw). No way of easily getting them narrower, so I bit the bullet and bought some Brompton Eazy Wheels. Measurement confirms each (outside point) is now 13mm closer to the centreline - so much better. Strangely (even though the 'standing points' are closer together, if is more stable on the ground when fully folded!
