New Years Honours

I am off out shortly to get a few miles in. I think it should entitle me to at least an OBE for services to reducing carbon footprint. After all, amongst the many deserving people being awarded gongs there are many not doing much more than I propose. I guess like a lot of life it's not what you do but who you know.

Stuart Hall gets an OBE

Steve Lillywhite a CBE, for work on quality stuff like Ultravox (with John Foxx). Hard to forgive U2 and the Drolling Bones but he's done enough good to compensate I guess.

I think its simply a way for the HRH's to remain in favour with the great unwashed...erm..and the washed actually...anyway...it's about choosing a popular person so the monarchy remain popular...no sh%t sherlock boab.
