I go past the end of the lane quite regularly on one of my weekend rides. Where would you be coming from?.

However, we approached the cafe in question from Preston. Out of Preston along Back Lane, then left up Plough Lane after a mile or so, and the cafe is on the left after the pub.

They have a very good music festival at the pub (the field behind ) in the summer. Been to the last two but still not been to the cafe.
