Thanks for the welcome all.

@runner yes I agree. I have already been doing it a month on my POS bike. And it is even quicker most days than going by car.

When I got made redundant some 10 years ago I looked for a job that would allow me to cycle each and everyday. Now at almost 59 I cycle further and longer than I ever have whatever the weather.....but I am looking forward to spring!
