when i say newbie i really mean newbie, i've just been out for my 3rd bike ride, i managed an hour but boy was it slow, i have a trek 7.0 fx which is about 4 years old and hardly ridden, switched to the bike due to injuries while running and am really enjoying it...so far.

    Hi Philip,

I must say - well done on the hour-long endurance.

I recently attempted a similar length of time cycle ride and found that I hurt a lot after it - but, perhaps most importantly, have found similar lengths of rides a lot easier after that first 'hurdle' so to speak.

I hope you are enjoying finding your feet, or rather, your wheels!

And, as is customary - welcome to the forum - from a fellow newbie.
