Newbie from sheffield

Hi Guys

I have had this site recommended by a friend.

New to mountain biking and was woundering if i had made the right choice for my first bike. I have just bought a carrera centos, 20" frame front and rear disc breaks.

Hi and ,
For the price I think you will find it will give you a good start.
The frame is light and it has good components. The weak point may be the front suspension forks but they should do you fine as a starter.
Basically you get what you pay for. As an entry level bike, at that price, I think you made a good choice.

Im glad i made the right choice lol. I think i will buy some new forks eventually. but like u said for the price its a good starter bike.

New too & from Sheff Gareth but I`ve moved away from mtb & rough terrain shenanigans to Road biking with a new Scott 2013 S50 (how things have changed from my old raleigh record sprint!?) but with the state our roads are in maybe I should have got an hybrid?
eyes down when Spring and dry days come for jaunts around the peak reservoirs
