Hi I'm a new cyclist at over 50
Just brought a boardman team carbon and riding to work a couple of days a week, live in Surrey close to boxhill and starting to enjoy it enough to get out at weekend

Welcome. Although my choice of bike is probably about as far from yours as the road bike spectrum allows, I'm a similar age and sounds as if I live in a similar area, and there's nothing I enjoy more than a quick evening spin up and down Box Hill. I think the view opening out on the left coming down the upper stretch just as the trees stop is the most beautiful in the kingdom. (Well, south of York. And east of Offa's Dyke. And north of Ditchling. But still quite beautiful)
